Managing assessments

Assessments help you measure whether employees have truly understood the course content. They make knowledge measurable and provide insight into where additional attention is required.

Why use assessments?

  • Insight into employees’ knowledge levels
  • Demonstrable results for management and audits
  • Targeted follow-up for low scores
  • Reinforcement of learning objectives and awareness

Create an assessment

  1. Go to Assessments in the menu.
  2. Select Add.
  3. Enter a title and (optional) description.
  4. Add one or more questions.
  5. Define the correct answer per question.
  6. Set the minimum pass percentage.
  7. Save the assessment.

Link an assessment to a course

An assessment can be added as a standalone activity or as the final step of a course. You can decide whether a course is only completed after passing the assessment.

Results and follow-up

Assessment results are available in the reports. Use these insights to follow up with teams or employees who may need additional support.

Best practices

  • Keep questions short and unambiguous.
  • Use realistic, practical scenarios.
  • Limit the number of questions to avoid assessment fatigue.
