Categories serve the purpose of dividing the courses into logical groups. This also allows us to grant or deny access to all courses that fall into this at once. As an organization, you can issue a certificate if a user has completed all courses in that category.
Many of our customers create the onboarding category. This includes, for example, a course with the 10 golden rules, which employees should know before their first day starts.
