Hand in your passport? What if someone copies your passport! Will it be stored safely? What if you are later arrested and you cannot identify yourself? What can other people actually do with your passport? We all do it without thinking about it, but you don't always realize what you're giving away with such a simple act. For one reason, European legislation has been introduced that protects the privacy of European citizens and prevents personal data from being sold.

This course is a practical introduction to the regulations of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and what types of data these regulations should protect. The main concerns of the GDPR and the right ways to protect, process and store personal data are clearly explained.
