Manage blog

Each organization has the option to publish news items. The idea behind this feature is that it can be used to share news about courses and the platform. Naturally, blogs can also be made available in multiple languages.

If an organization does not want to use this feature, go to the organization configuration page and disable the option “show news”. This will also remove the “about us” page.

Instructions

Go to Manage blog in the menu and click Create.

Add a blog as an activity

Important: Always create the English version first, followed by the other languages.

  • Go to the course activities and choose Create.
  • Provide a title and description for the activity and select Blog as the activity type.
  • Select the blog title you want to link.
  • Optionally, define whether this activity should start after another activity or after a specific date.
  • Add an image (400x400).
  • Enable Is active.
  • Click Create.

If applicable, repeat these steps for the other languages available for your organization by selecting the language in the top-right corner. This option becomes available after the English activity has been created.
